The Deka Career Day 2023 was held entirely online, with 940 participants on the day. Together with RAVE SPACE, the whole event moved into a browser-based 3D world, with networking and interaction in the same space.

Deka Career Day: Goals and Concept
DekaBank, one of Germany's leading financial service providers, aimed to make its career day an innovative and digital experience. The focus was on reaching young talents in a way that exceeded their technological expectations. The Metaverse approach allowed participants to explore an interactive 3D environment, network with others, and discover career opportunities at DekaBank in an entirely new way.
The Technology Behind the Deka Career Day
RAVE SPACE used its RAVE ENGINE to create a real-time browser-based virtual world for DekaBank. Accessible without additional software on all standard devices, the platform provided a user-friendly experience for all participants.
Within the virtual space, attendees could explore different career areas and opportunities. Features such as real-time networking, interactive presentations, and live Q&A sessions created an exceptional level of engagement. Companies had the chance to present their values, projects, and career offerings in a modern, engaging format.
Augmented Reality and Immersive Features
Augmented reality came on top of that. Participants could project content such as company information or a workplace into their own room, instead of only seeing it on a screen.
